I had 5, 6 & 8 for Cotto, the rest for Mayweather. Mayweather was ****ing off for most of the fight, walking himself into the corner and taking unnecessary shots.

Great fight, much respect for Cotto. Mayweather is very quick and his shoulder block seems hard to defend. He won the fight from the corner and ropes, Mayweather is talented.

all the belts that Floyd had in the right tonight are the belts he's won in the past. Once you move up you lose your belt in the lower divisions. He was just getting his swag (new school word haha) on.

Best fighter of our time folks.
Cotto gave him trouble in the middle rounds with the jab and the bodywork. That's the way to beat Mayweather (in case you were wondering). Pacquiao has zero chance at beating Mayweather. Bradley might give him trouble. |

Theres a reason why floyd constantly changes his stances and puts up numerous roadblocks when Manny trys to make setup a fight... Floyd sees Manny as his demise.
3 years ago after Manny f'd Cotto up, I was confident he could beat floyd. 3 years later, and worthless negotiating....Manny is shopworn and losing his speed. After tonight, the same is happening to Floyd. He's losing his legs and he wasnt as quick as he once was. The fight is still a toss-up, triangle theories should be thrown out the window. If floyd remains humble, and comes out even more so after getting raped in prison, maybe we could eventually see Manny vs Floyd. Or...floyd will just take a new stance, 154, and 10oz gloves. |

Floyd's a great fighter but his fights are generally boring, I think.

Good fight from Cotto. He had the right game plan, he just didn't have the talent to get it done.
I think Canelo might be ready to step up to fight Floyd and give him tougher fight than Cotto did. It's apparently not going to happen though because Oscar doesn't think Canelo is ready. I don't see why though. If he can execute what he did to Mosley against Floyd, then we'd see a 1 in Floyd's loss column. |
