Zayne Anderson?

Just figured I'd give this guy his own thread, since Devon Key got one.

Key, as you know, is an UDFA who the Chiefs promoted as they got increasingly meh with Thornhill, to be the Chiefs 3rd safety in dime packages. He got rave reviews in camp, does look pretty good...

...then kind of farts out in the preseason game, including giving up an 80 yard TD.

This week, so far, the Chiefs have grounded Key on the 2nd team, and promoted ((((you guessed it)))) Zayne Anderson to the 3rd safety for the team's dime packages.

I imagine we'll see it on Friday night.

Anybody know anything about him?

This guy is a special teams specialist that our genius ST coach begged I'm sure to bring him in when he was waived. If he see's the field at safety we are in deep shit or way ahead with seconds left.

Now explain Snead Badger and Thornhill not wanting to stick their noses in on a tackle?

It was better that Sneed let up on that Lock TD run since he could have injured Mathieu or himself or drew a penalty.

**** Teddy Bruschi, Sneed tackles RBs one on one. Sneed broke his collarbone last year diving for an interception.

I prefer an athlete use their eyes and judgment and not try to take every opportunity to make a tackle.

That Raiders safety Abraham came into the league thinking he was going to take every opportunity to light people up and learned the hard way that you get injured and miss games if you try to do that.

Mormans have to wear special underwear garments and it makes them slower. They’re at a competitive disadvantage with the extra weight and mobility limitations caused by the holy underwear.

I think differently I guess. When you play to avoid contact someone will roll you up from behind and injure you.

The NFL is different now than when I was a young man.
