I did something I haven't done in 37 years ago in college. Buy less than 2 gallons at a gas station. Not convince this price increase will last beyond 2 months. Work at home and really only travel for errands now.

We pay roughly $15/month for about 650 miles of driving. Every car is a little different though. Ours is smaller (Nissan Leaf), and we charge overnight to take advantage of our electric utility's cheaper rates after 7pm.
