Got to have some carbs tonight and I love baked potatoes (so snagged a bit one). Cast Iron cooked thick pork chop and roasted veggies.

Great minds think alike! Tonight I did 2 shoulder blade pork chops in stainless steel on the stove. They are an underrated cut and came out tender and juicy with a nice crust. Only needed salt, pepper and a little olive oil in the pan. I love using Worcestershire sauce on them when I'm eating them. Did a can of Margaret Holmes Succatash as a side. |

How do you do you roasted veggies? I could eat them every day for 10 years and still be happy, so I'm always interested in new ways to make them.

It is actually. I find the 50% less fat tastes the same as the regular. But **** the fat free sour cream!

Got a 3 pound chuck roast in the crockpot, seared both sides then threw it in there with some beef broth, potatoes, onions, carrots, green peppers, some black pepper and garlic
Simple but effective, should be ready around 8 or so |
