But he’s 32, entering his 11th season, coming off a banged-up year with seven games missed due to injury, and the Falcons are in cap jail. If they could off-load his money and cushion it by splitting it between this year ($7.75 million) and next ($15.5 million), Atlanta’s cap charge on Jones this year goes down by a tad more than $15 million.

One final note here, to be very clear: I am not reporting the Falcons will trade Jones, or will probably trade Jones. I am saying it would not surprise me if it happened.

I would rather use the money for a DE, but i haven't heard of one being available. Our offense was super explosive when we had a #2 WR in Watkins on the field. If we can replicate that it's worth taking a look at Julio Jones.

With Frank Clark and Kaindoh at DE, our Dline isn't a strength. I would rather play Danna this year than Kaindoh.

I was hoping Ingrams would come give us a couple of good years.

He was dominant last year before ending the season early due to injury.

Julio had 137 yards receiving against Carolina in their matchup last year

157 against Seattle
137 against Minnesota
97 against Detroit

20 years from now, some team playing a 20 game schedule will try to beat the stats we would put up in 2021. Every passing and scoring record would fall.

Let’s be honest here.

If we lose Hill, Kelce or Hardman to injury this year for a stretch or in the postseason...that could derail our chances at a championship.

Adding Julio would completely transform the WR group.
