I gave it up on the 3rd date w/ Gonzo. That was 17 years ago. Honestly, I think we would have still worked out had I put out on the 1st date. There isn't a magic number. I just think that, if you don't see yourself with someone after the first date, but you're sexually attracted to them, then you sleep with them and move on. If you think there might be a second date, and he respects you, then you wait and see what happens.

Again this is just my opinion from my personal experience. If you shag a chick on the first date, and then go on to spend your life with her, good for you.
