There is a substantial excerpt on The Ringer from a book about the Astros' development system and how their methods, initiated and delegated by Luhnow, of course, have totally lapped most of MLB.

Mo I’m there, not yet on Schildt. But, we were sold that he was going to be a different manager. Was going to use stats, the new baseball information to help make decisions.

Instead we just get the same lineups, players have to fail for weeks before any change. Pitching Waino was inexcusable. Carp staying at the top of the lineup batting .200 for 33% of the games. Running Wacha out there.
