2019 Free agency Thread
We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.
If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research. https://overthecap.com/ |

Peterson, Fuller, Breeland, Ward...
Would immediately be a top notch CB group. And I think you could make a trade without giving up 29. |

I hope if it is Peterson, they can work on an extension. Looks like he has a cap number this year of around $12 million.

It's gonna be Peterson I would imagine. I'd rather have Ramsey, but he'd cost ALOT more. MIddlekauff has been hinting around at the Chiefs trading for Peterson. He hasn't said he's heard it directly but every example he uses is that so i'm guessing there is something to it. |

I wouldn't go extending Peterson right away. He's no spring chicken.
I would extend Ramsey immediately but i'm really not sure he's even on the block and it would probably take atleast a 1st and a 2nd if not 2 1st. |

I guess it is. I just thought it would still give us additional flexibility if it was reworked with a short term extension to plug other holes and it looks like he is only under contract through 2020 if I was looking right. I wasn't talking like a long term extension. I would just like to have him a little longer than that given what it may take to get him in draft picks.

They'd have to give up the moon and more for Ramsey.
Peterson is easily the better move, despite the age difference. Peterson would instantly be not only a great player but a great leader and would elevate the entire defense. As talented as Ramsey is, he don't bring the same things to the table that Peterson does. |

My question would be if Tyreek would be a bargaining chip in talks for Patrick Peterson so we don't give up any draft capital if not maybe pick up an extra pick on Day 2.

If Tyreek's situation is bleak enough that the Chiefs would consider trading him, nobody is going to want him.
