Patrick Mahomes, you’re up.

EDIT: Timeline below. 1. Darlington & Schefter report Brady is retiring. 2. TB12, Tom’s brand/company, tweet (then later delete) about his retirement. 3. Toms teammates tweet about his retirement. 4. Tom’s agent, dad, Arians, and Licht all say Tom hasn’t decided yet. 5. Ian Rappaport says many sources confirm Tom plans to retire but the pushback is due to timing. 6. Lol. No way this is real.
This guy is just a complete attention whore and can’t stand when he isn’t being talked about this time of year. I sincerely hope he’s staying away but I seriously doubt it. |

He could have easily done this three weeks from now. But no, he does it during the lead up to the Super Bowl. I'm sure at this point the average fan doesn't give a shit, but his ballwashers in the media will all rush to assume the position. |

Even as a big Brady fan this is the best news for the Bucs championship aspirations. Why? The team lost tremendous talent after the 2021-2 season and it was only going to get worse since they are in cap hell. Now, they can rebuild and trade away a few veterans for picks. Or at least, they can have a reset year and solve a good portion of their cap woes while getting a high draft pick.

He will heal up and then in May some team will call him and he'll play.

He and his agent asked around the league for offers and found there wasn’t much interest

The worst thing is though, is that even if he is actually retiring, it means we're still gonna have to see and hear his ugly, insufferable ass calling games as a broadcaster every damn week.
