Live 24/7 webcam of watering hole in Africa
This is killer shit dudes. Nature in action, if you like wildlife, that is. Animals of all sorts come by and drink, bath or just hang out. Also around dawn or dusk is when the action is most frequent. You can see comets, falling stars at night, listen to the sounds of nature at it's best.
First I will post the link, then a photo from a scene the camera caught NEW LINK HERE Last edited by chagrin; 10-24-2007 at 05:02 AM.. |

It really should. I've been saying that ever since that enormous bird came swooping in and scared off the giant, striped African rats.

They have added a new camera. This one is a bald eagle nest with 2 babies, pretty cool.
http://wavelit.com/media/702/Eagles_Nest_Live/ Also, they have added a link for the africam but with a time delay so you can see daytime stuff during our daytime. There was a warthog on there a minute ago. **edit** I am a dork. The correct link is now above Last edited by Hydrae; 05-21-2008 at 07:26 PM.. |

The Eagle Cam is very cool, indeed. It looks as if the parent bird is shredding a rabbit and feeding the chicks.

The bald eagle's nest is very near some train tracks. I heard the whistle as it was coming round the bend.
