Does a win on Sunday hurt the Chiefs?

With a Chiefs win of a noon game on Sunday, the Texans will likely pull their starters for their 3:25 game against the Titans. The Titans likely win in this scenario and would play the Chiefs in the first round of the playoffs. The Chiefs never and will never beat the Titans, as Andy usually find the stupidest ways to lose to this abysmal franchise. BUT, if the Chiefs tank and lose to the Chargers... the Bills, Steelers, or Raiders become a more likely Wild Card opponent-- regardless of Texans/Titans outcome.

Pats obviously not losing, so answer the question with that in mind.

**** the NFL scheduling this week. All start times should be the same.

Yes, yes you would. And it's not a 'Marty thing', he just happened to "benefit" from it same as Andy, same as Haley, and same as the rest before them.
That stadium's #1 sponsor should be Deffenbaugh. Paint the exterior green, with a big ol' gold Deffenbaugh logo on the north, south, east, and west!
Then, airdrop about 500,000 tires into said giant green bowl of Satan followed by a gallon of gas for every roster spot since 1972, and top it off with a flaming Mitch Holthus whose dying, airborne screams about hammers and such will ignite the glorious blaze and put an end to this 100000% legitimate curse once and for all.

The CHIEFS are either good enough or not. It really doesn't matter who or where they play.

Think about how good it felt beating the shit out of the Colts last year. It will feel just like that again defeating each of these asshole teams.

I want revenge for 2010, 2017 and 2018.
Ah to the Ravens. It would be kind of cool to beat the Titans, Cheatriots and then the Bills though. Vanquish all those past playoff losses in one series on our way to the SB. Now that would be a story for the ages.

The Titans have been a pain in our ass for a while. It makes no sense but they are physical and that is a problem for us. Have no idea at this point, so just keep winning.

Lost to the Titans earlier this year, gave up 188 yrds rushing to Henry.
Tannehill threw for 235 yrds with 2 TD, 0 int

smh

I know, right??? How in gods name can some of these fools watch KC get their ass handed to them in the playoffs non-stop at home, and think "derp-derp-derp can't WAIT to get back to Arrowhead for the playoffs"!

I guess some people just love the smell of frozen shartpants and Natty Light on a winter's day...

The problem with this argument is if we lose we're mostly likely getting the Bills, unless the Titans win and then we're getting the Titans anyway.

There's probably an argument to be made to want to play the Steelers more than these other teams just because their offense is a complete trainwreck and they're playing 3rd stringers all over the place, but we'd probably have to win to face them anyway.

Since when does a win "hurt" the team? I want them to be firing on all cylinders going into the playoffs. If that means we face the Titans, Bills, Steelers, whatever, so be it. The objective is the SB, not who we'll face in the 1st round or if there's a curse at Arrowhead.

I don't think there is a team going into the playoffs that have not knocked off the Chiefs in previous years SO **** EVERY TEAM WE ARE COMING AFTER EACH AND EVERYONE. It doesn't matter who or where we play we are taking it all the way with a vengeance.

I don't recall getting "our ass handed to us" last year in the playoffs. I recall being an offsides and taking a known cheating team into overtime after outscoring the Patriots in the second half like 33-7 . We did not get our asses handed to us.

Nobody wants to come to Arrowhead to play us I garandamntee that.
