If he had touched the ball while not in the Seahawks player's possession while out of bounds (or before re-establishing in bounds), it would have been dead immediately, even if it was just for a split second as the ball was coming out of the Seahawks player's arms. I think.

If he had grabbed the arm and not touched the ball at all, I think it's still a live ball, but he couldn't be the one to recover it. I think.

Definitely a weird one though.

Jesus, people want to ditch Reid for a totally unproven guy like Salah? This place has gone batshit crazy. I wouldn't mind trying the guy out if we're moving on from haley or Romeo with limited offense talent. Shanahan is a huge reason for sf success. He should get coach of the year.
