Cheese

I am conducting an important ChiefsPlanet experiment. Please feel free to participate or not as you will.

This thread is about cheese. There are, as we all know, many varieties of cheese. There is munster, parmesan (good on spaghetti), cheddar, brie (known in France as "The Queen of Cheeses"), and lots of other kinds. Of note, one ounce of Wisconsin Cheddar has approximately 114 calories and 7 grams of protein. Cheese is pretty good and, in moderation, good for you.

Please feel free to post your thoughts and comments regarding cheese here. There is no need whatsoever to create another thread about cheese. Neither is there any need to post cheese-related information on other threads.

It's hard work but I love it. Things have kinda slowed down now , enough so that I can get some mellow time. We make maz, quesso, cheddar, provalone, framage blanc, cottage, and pure whey among other things. 20 # wheels and one pound balls of the pulled curd. Plus butter, and meat products. Produce in season this year, and round year after spring. Ain't been home but for a second.
It's nice hit kc up once a week or so and get out. Splain the copy machine.

Among other things. Make cheese twice a week. I didn't exactly advertise when it went down.

Actually the funny thing is im not the biggest fan of blue cheese either...but all of a sudden when you smoke it.....MMMMM

Smoked cheddars and smoked goudas are damn good too, and CHEAP as hell...Ever had a smoked gouda??

Smoked gouda might be my favorite overall 'cracker snackin' cheese...

Parmesan is probably my favorite.

I don't mean that pre-grated shit from Kraft, either.

The good stuff that costs $10 for a 1 lb wedge.

Overall, the Amish make the best cheese. If you love cheese, I highly recommend Amish-made.
