Marquez-Valdes Scanwhatever signs for the Bills

Butter fingers MVS has fittingly just signed a deal to join a team in Buffalo named after Bill Buckner.

See ya.

In the regular season he might be over exaggerating his value some. Post season though? He was our best pass catcher after Kelce the past two seasons.

Well he was Rodgers’ second and third leading receiver in 2020 and 2021 then Mahomes’ third and fourth leading receiver in 2022 and 2023. He did make big plays for both the Chiefs and the Packers.

He definitely sounds defensive, which is why I’d be curious about the context of the statement.

But his resume does speak for itself. He’s a decent third option in a great offense and there’s nothing wrong with that.

It was obviously Rice last season, but ignoring that:

I dunno about MVS elevating Rodgers and Mahomes game. I think it's the other way around. But whatever. He came up clutch in the playoffs where it matters, invisible in the regular season though.

Lucky to be drafted by Packers. You don't control your draft spot. But he's pretty smart to choose the Chiefs & Bills in free agency. Very smart to choose teams with elite QB's. There are some pretty dumb guys who might go somewhere else for a few extra dollars instead of focusing primarily on ending up with a very good QB.

Lol, "Big numbers." 315 yds and 1 TD. 2 more yards than Ezekiel Elliott.

Whatever. Thx for your contributions, MVS.

He wasn't really all that "invisible," he stood out on a number of terrible drops. I think he would have been lucky to have been invisible during the regular season last year. But I agree, he really did come through in the playoffs the past two seasons.

Given his speed, if he didn't have obvious flaws he would have never been on the market for what the Chief's signed him.

He stretched the field. He made some great plays. He drove Mahomes crazy just like Rodgers.

MVS lived up to who we thought he should be.

Sure, it would have been nice if suddenly he became more than that, but MVS delivered on what he legitimately signed up for.

I sure don't have a problem with that given how weak KC's WRs were at the time. Glad we no longer need him.

IMO, he's just saying those QBs wouldn't have all those MVP type passing yards unless somebody is catching those passes - and he was one of those pass catchers.

Which is absolutely true.

Being in the team doesn't mean you elevated anyones game or really helped them. How many times did both Rodgers and Mahomes get angry at MVS? He's an average receiver who just happened to play with the best QBs of all time. You have to stretch the hell out of the word help to show that he helped them get their MVPs as if they wouldn't have had them without him.

What's next? He's going to make a block and then claim he helped Allen be a good running QB?

Man I missed that. I meant the post season. He was the Frank Clark of the offense the past couple of seasons.

He made the catches when the pressure was on and in the biggest moments. I’m cool with it.
