**Wednesday, Juneteenth Royals at Oakland GDT**

Alright, I've had enough of this horseshit. We need a winning streak, and it begins with Cole Ragans taking the hill and righting the ship tonight.

1. Garcia - 3B
2. BWJ - SS
3. Vinnie - 1B
4. Salvy - C
5. MJ - LF
6. Loftin - 2B
7. Frazier - RF
8. Nellie - DH
9. Isbel - CF

Just remember what old Jack Burton does when the earth quakes, the poison arrows fall from the sky, and the pillars of Heaven shake. Yeah, Jack Burton just looks that big old storm right in the eye and says, "Give me your best shot. I can take it."

Maybe Lugo can stop the bleeding by throwing a complete game shutout tomorrow?

I wish it weren’t so, but it feels like this team peaked in May.

We should add Trevor Bauer and try him in the bullpen. Just let him throw full power for an inning or two per outing. We gotta do something.

I'd take Jack Bauer in our bullpen over any of the scrubs we have out there now.

It worked out for Oakland, but I would have rolled out Mason Miller last inning. Oh well.

Still holding out hope.

Asking myself the same thing about me. But that did it. I'm going to bed. Not gonna give up part of my afternoon to follow tomorrow and I'm plenty busy this weekend so I will casually check the scores and such when I can. I have a bad feeling we will be limping home to play the Marlins and to be honest, not sure how much confidence I can have in our ability to whip them after the A's made us their bitch this week.

But I will say this, by the end of next week we will know if the 2024 Royals are to be taken seriously as a potential playoff team or will go down as a cute story for the first few months of the season who then fell into a normal improvement climb for a team that lost over 100 games last year. Again, landing on 78-80 wins will not be a sad story for this team...it just may feel like one at first due to the hot start.
