Zayne Anderson?

Just figured I'd give this guy his own thread, since Devon Key got one.

Key, as you know, is an UDFA who the Chiefs promoted as they got increasingly meh with Thornhill, to be the Chiefs 3rd safety in dime packages. He got rave reviews in camp, does look pretty good...

...then kind of farts out in the preseason game, including giving up an 80 yard TD.

This week, so far, the Chiefs have grounded Key on the 2nd team, and promoted ((((you guessed it)))) Zayne Anderson to the 3rd safety for the team's dime packages.

I imagine we'll see it on Friday night.

Anybody know anything about him?

He's made a couple crucial errors but he'll rebound and be a star for the KC Chiefs.

It's no different than saying Asians haven't measured up as basketball players "yeah wut about yao ming tho lol"
What does that have to do with Anderson? Is he a RB on the depth chart? White guys playing special teams is nothing new.

He should ride on the wing of the plane on the way home. If he survives he can stay on the team another week.

This bonehead cost us a return TD last week and then makes a stupid penalty this week to extend the Donk drive. Cut him.

The most irritating part of the roughing the kicker play is how utterly pointless it is to pressurise the kicker as even if you get a block it bounce back to the kicking team just as often as the defensive team so is a low reward play.

Being aggressive on special teams is about as useless as it's ever been.
The risk vs reward is just not worth it in today's NFL.

Most of the time good plays end in a flag.

I would be happy if Zane was still on the practice squad and Sorenson took his spot and only played special teams

I would take anyone deep over Sorenson. He needs to just be the special teams guy he is at this stage of his career...
