Had my dad in town for the weekend. We made smoked meatloaf open faced sandwiches. I smoked the meatloaf in our stoneware bread pan which gave it a nice crust; not too smokey. Layered the sandwich with Italian bread, sliced meatloaf, topped with mashed potatoes and a smoked gravy from the drippings. It was savory, carb heaven.

Honestly, I'm not a huge meatloaf fan. We make ours more savory, like a meatball, than a traditional meatloaf as I don't like ketchup and sweetness in general.
