The Motorcycle Discussion Thread
I figure there are some motorcycle guys/gals on CP, so I thought we could have a place to talk all things Motorcycles.
Tire Mount and Balance Prices (as of 10/29/16) Prices based on if you remove the wheels yourself and bring the wheels and new tires with you: Cycle Gear - $35 per wheel if you buy tires from them. $58 per wheel if you buy tires elsewhere Rawhide - $65 per wheel (assuming it would be the same at other HD dealers. they book it at 1/2 hr per wheel) C R Cycle Tires (DeSoto) - $30 per wheel Cheapest I've found my Michelin Commander II's. Seem like they have good prices on other brands too. http://www.jakewilson.com - Free 3 day shipping on orders over $75 Last edited by Dayze; 10-29-2016 at 09:02 PM.. |

I bet the baffles are either 1.75 or 2.00". anything above 2" are LOUD lol. when I put on my Cobra slip-ons, I was really surprised how loud that were. Probably some of it was because I was so used to the stock sound and how quiet they were. but, after having ridden with them now for a bit, they're not bad at all in terms of riding far w/out getting a headache etc. so I think they're just right now. I 'think' my stock baffles are 2.00". Even if you think they are too loud,, or quiet, you can always replace baffles for cheap and easily. |

I'm looking into getting a honda crf100 or 125 or kawasaki kx125. Hell maybe even the Yamaha's 125 series. I'm gettin an itch to ride some trails around the area and hit the local MX track. I'm not in to getting into any competition or racing so that's why I'm just goin with a 125 instead of a 250 or 450. Way cheaper and I have no want for the extra acceleration and speed.

Got the track in and started teaching little man this weekend. Unique challenge being he hasn't been on a bike yet.
