2019 Free agency Thread

We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.

If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research.

That would be ideal.

I’ve said it before, wasn’t a fan of the pick at the time. I wanted Bates, who was fantastic as a rookie.

I like the pick a little better today after watching him and the switch to the 4-3 though

Yeah, gotta think they had that in mind when they picked him.

Not sure how I feel about that. On one hand, sure, but on the other it would be nice to have 6 top 60 picks in 2 years on the roster.

Quality over quantity on the early days of the draft IMO.

If they can get two players that they love as opposed to one and then two guys they just like, I’d do the trade up.

With all their picks at the end of the rounds, they could easily miss on their favorite players.

Double.

Standard.

Ford actually had hope due to his athleticism.

Speaks is Turkey McBride v2.0

Baloney. Speaks played a very similar role in college that Tamba Hali did, playing base DE in the 4-3 and playing on the interior in sub packages.

Nobody has actually seen what Speaks can do because Sutton had him playing out of position.

I have a sneaky feeling after Ballard drafting the mlb last year for colts, and how the move transformed that bad run D we are gonna trade up for one of the devins white or Bush. Both guys would transform this D.

What do u guys think?

You'd have to get to the top 10 for sure for White. Maybe 5 or 6.

Not likely.
