So, what happens this week with the Chargers visiting the Broncos?

Chargers beat the Raiders and Panthers, losing to the Steelers and Chiefs.
Broncos lost to the Seahawks and Steelers, defeating the Bucs, Jets and Raiders.

The teams share a similar loss (PIT) and a similar win (LVR).
Denver has won 3 straight and 5 of the last 8 and the last time the Chargers won in Denver was 2018.

I think Denver wins it, likely 31 - 20. It will be interesting to see what Harbaugh brings this week.

I'm thinking the Chargers win this one. Coming off a bye, better coach, better QB. The Broncos defense is a lot better than I expected them to be, but I guess I'm still waiting for them to come back down to earth.

All that said - I'd prefer to see the Broncos win. Not real worried about the long-term for their regime, whereas on the other side I could see Harbaugh eventually making the Chargers a good team, so don't want him getting any traction.

Bucs, Steelers, Raiders, Panthers and Jets are ranked 19th, 23rd, 24th, 25th and 27th offensively...the only top 10 offense they've played is Seattle (7th) and they lost.

Bo Nix is on pace for a 10 TD/13 INT season...vast improvement over Wilson's 26 TD/ 8 INT 2023.

Yes, please keep winning...it's going to fall apart soon...just like last year.

I want two things...Bronco fans to get their hopes up...and Nix to be just good enough to be their starter in 2024.

Chargers are 29th on offense...so the trend of playing consecutive bottom-feeder offenses continues...until it doesn't.

They can only play the schedule out in front of them. Losing at SEA in week 1 by 6, with a rookie QB. It wasn’t a terrible defeat.

Rating teams through the first 8 weeks is pointless....a team like the Donks can play 5 straight games against teams at the bottom...while another can get pitted against playing top teams.

By numerical stats, they will score higher....but those numbers arent rooted in reality unless everybody has played the exact same schedule.

Donks defense will rate out well (for now)...if they only play terrible offenses all year.

I don’t really disagree and we will find out soon how real the defense is this year.
