You don’t bet your career on working for a franchise with a dumpster fire of an ownership situation. I’m glad they weren’t interested, because I like both of those guys. We would have set their careers back five years, if we didn’t ruin them altogether.

On the other hand, they would both be Broncos if a non-Alzheimers Pat Bowlen had been running the Broncos when they were job hunting. It’s too bad.

You're correct. I read an article a few years ago that said Denver was never getting Shanahan Jr. I guess this was the reason.
