Blanch is a genius sending him in there with false info. Mahomes still gimpy AF Chiefs plan to utilize CEH for veteran experience ....

I mean even if it were real info, it's Lammons, he has no valuable Intel.

"Ok, Chris what spicy things can you tell us about the chiefs game plan?"

"Well I play special teams and we just kind of wing it on that phase"

I seriously doubt that Chris Lammons has any pertinent information that the Bengals couldn't get from studying film. It's a non-issue.

No, i'm legit asking. What could they actually learn. I don't think it'd be much if anything.

It's just a move to keep us from re-signing him if Fortson isn't ready to go I think. Hurts our already bad ST.

He's a back-up corner. He's in the DB room.

Who knows if they haven't discussed since the game in early Dec what they'd do different defensively if they play them again? Who know if there wasn't any work done during the bye week on gameplanning for Buffalo/Cincy that Lammons was privy to? Who knows if there might be some special teams wrinkle that could give Cincy any advantage?

You're seriously telling me if we signed a comparable guy from the Bengals right now you'd be entirely convinced there'd be absolutely nothing to gain from it as it relates to intel?

I guess I don't entirely see it that way. Happy to be wrong.

Any chance Clark gave him 500K in a knap sack to go to the Bengals and give them wrong intel? I'd laugh if the first 2 passes Burrow throws are picks because we bullshitted them.

Never happen, but I can laugh about it in my head.

Copy.

I’m just shocked that a board that overreacts to literally everything seems remarkably mellow about a player being signed away by the ****ing Bengals whom we’re about to play in the AFCCG.

I trust Veach and all that and I’m sure he thought the risk was worth it, but it doesn’t make me feel better about the game.

Although I don’t like the move I can’t imagine veach and Reid would be dumb enough to just let him loose if they felt he could give anything away. On decisions like this that are pure logistics I trust the big fella completely. And whatever lammons knows they’ve probably already gone a different direction.

Or maybe it's possible that they released him because they know that he has a big weakness that they can exploit. So if he shows up on the field they'll audible into his achilles heel.
