This version of the ravens

Styles make fights.

This current version of the ravens style just isn’t capable of fighting the chiefs.

And props to htisimage. Dude had this one nailed

If that’s the case, there is a legitimate blue print on tape. Twice.
What if the Titans copied KC? This game tonight (and the Titans game) both looked pretty damn similar to what we saw from Lamar last year in Kansas City. This time he wasn't able to do a bunch of stat-padding in garbage time like the other 2 games.

Teams can't copy Mahomes.

Spags took away almost all of the system bullshit that they do and forced Lamar to make his own decisions and he flopped.

Anyone who watched the Ravens first 2 games saw them running quick slants, play action/RPO to Andrews and quick middle of the field dump offs.

We defended all of those perfectly and Tedric Thompson blasted Hollywood Brown to the ****ing ground twice on quick slants.

We were ready. They’ve been figured out

The Steelers are much more threatening to the Chiefs than these Ravens precisely because they have a QB who can throw the ball.

I should add though that much credit goes to the players.

You don’t stop a bullyball scheme like that just with coaching, the DL and linebackers were extremely physical. Much like against TEN and SF.

Spags is really something else. He’s easily one of the best DCs in the league for my money. I’ve actually enjoyed watching us play defense for the most part since he got everything installed properly. His play calling is diverse and brilliant. Like I get serious BB vibes from
his tactics. He just needs to stay away from the head spot lol.

The biggest thing is I can't remember another coordinator we've had who adjusts so well. Obviously Reid does that on the offensive side too... but there are so many games like tonight where the opposing offense comes out and looks great, and Spags keeps adjusting until we start getting stops.

So uhhh...anyone find it funny that the Ravens got Marcus Peters? That is the absolute wrong guy to get if you were hoping to be able to shut down Mahomes. Patrick, Andy, Eric, Tyreek, and others know every damn tendency of Peters. They know how to torch him. If you want any shot against KC, it's becoming clear that your best bet is to get elite pass rushers in your front 4. Without that, you are screwed.

Man, me too. The first quarter was pretty rough for the Chiefs. But honestly, I wasn't really that concerned. Mahomes is so good, we're rarely going to be out of the game. What a feeling compared to the shit stain of QBs we've had over the past several decades....
