McCaffrey gets new deal averaging $19 million
These deals this off-season have been nuts. Insane that he is higher up than Kelce in AAV

Niners are like a cartoon version of the 90s Chiefs. White RB, defense that plays well all year but fails when it matters most, and a limited game manager QB taken with the last pick ot the draft. The only thing to make it better was of they traded for that turd Purty.

Kittle, Deebo and Aiyuk were complete no shows in the SB. McCaffrey was their only major skill player that did anything. They probably would have had less than 10 points without him that day

Love seeing all these contenders spend their money on pieces that haven't gotten them any further than they were before that player arrived. Christian McCaffrey, Justin Jefferson, Jaylen Waddle, yes puppets, keep spending.

Running backs tend to get hurt after the amount of touches he had last season. You have to include the playoffs too. This isn't arguable, it is history. He has been injury plagued ANYWAY.

You pay elite players well because they are elite. It's the job of the GM to build a SB team. One player can only do so much especially in a team game like football. This isn't boxing or UFC. |

The only position that's proven to be Worth spending the big money these guys are getting is an elite HOF level QB. Building around Purty and then paying him 50 million will only end in misery for them.

For example, right now, if you had to choose. Are you taking CMC or Christian Kirk because their base salary’s are very close and Kirk had a 30 something million signing bonus. I would say we are taking CMC. |

Pass rushers, offensive lineman, RBs, LBs, WRs, etc. the elite players deserve to get paid big money too not just QB. They contribute a lot and QBs an't win without help. Ask any NFL GM and they'll say the same thing. They don't pay these guys big money for fun or charity. |
