I was more impressed by the Titans' defense than I expected to be.
Landry has a lot of burst and closing speed. KC is going to have to do a good job dealing with him and the other LB - 51. Simmons inside is a monster - hopefully the Chiefs new Red Wall matches up well against him. Still, Chiefs' main question is if they can protect the football. If Kansas City protects the football, the Chiefs will put up points. |

If we can finally stop turning the ball over, we will win handily. Tits down more corners, and need as many as possible to stop KC (which they won’t). Hope Jones, and Ward are back, and HB, and Kelce can play.

Caleb Farley was a big draft day topic about how much he would drop because of injury concerns. Titans picked him at #22 and some said that could be a bargain and others said Titans jumped the gun to pick him that high.
He did not look very good last night, and then he tears ACL. Before the ACL injury he looked like he was not ready to play hard. I always hope a young player overcomes injuries and has a good career, but he did not look NFL ready last night. |

This is a game that we drafted Nick Bolton for. The guy has missed only 1 tackle and did really well against Nick Chubb.
Him and Gay are going to be pivotal this week |

This was basically the offense for the Titans last night. Hand it off to Henry or play-action throw over the middle to Brown.

Maybe this is spinning stats to make a positive... but since Honey Badger's return after his week one COVID issue, the Chiefs defense has not given up 100 yards rushing in their games when the opposing QB wasn't the leading rusher and a legit running threat.
Baltimore, Philly and Buffalo all had over 100 yards rushing, with their QB's as the leading rushers. The Chargers and Washington were held to under 100 yards rushing as their QB's were not rushing threats and were therefore not their team's leading rusher. I guess the point is that the Chiefs run defense is "better" (relatively?) against more traditional rushing offenses, with a rushing attack led by a RB rather than a mobile QB. |
