Also the Amish beard balm and a few drops of valvaline full synthetic mix that up for a good shine. WD40 works but you smell fish oil for days

Outside of having to deal with an idiot Air Assault Corporal, I really didn't mind my time at the Air Assault School. Loved going Australian down the tower and finished the 12-mile ruck at the end in 2 hours, 10 min, which was pretty cool too, although my Plt. Leader bumped me at the finish line to ensure he would cross before I did (bastage). Luckily, one of the Sergeants spotted that so I got to watch the young lieutenant do push-ups while I sat in the shade. *grin*
Of course, as soon as I graduated, I forgot 90% of the stuff we'd been taught. My unit was never going to be air-assaulted anywhere (no one was going to tie up an entire squadron of Chinooks to lift a stinkin' platoon of M.I. weenies), so about all I remembered a month or so later was how to rappel and how to do the basic hand-signals to guide a helicopter in. And the Air Assault Corporal met karma. One of the people he really targeted for abuse was an older officer going through the school. Turned out, the young corporal had an impacted wisdom tooth and the last thing he saw before the anesthesia took hold was that officer standing over him. He'd been throwing his weight around with the new Division oral surgeon. Apparently his wisdom tooth extraction didn't go well. |

Understand and knew. I remember the first time I shaved and came down stairs with a bunch of patches of tissue all over my face. My dad just grinned. Thus my point on the obsidian Yes I said point...
From the posts, it seems, as my research indicated, that most women are 50%/50% yea/nay. I can understand the nays' if it feels like steel wool or public hair and they kiss a lot. I am hoping my wife will tolerate it or actually like it because it is soft, which I really didn't expect. In the end, I am not sure I care. I LIKE it. I have had numerous compliments, even one client stated it made me look distinguished. I guess that is a plus. I have enjoyed the comments, especially the assh@le comment from mom. I now know that each pelt is special. That is why I posted in the first place. Normally, I don't post much because I don't care to comment. I spoke to a client today. He said he would like to grow one, but as some have commented, he can't because of bald patches. Too bad. He doesn't really have a choice. I will try and post a pic when I get home. I don't have one uploaded on my office 'puter. Beards |

Nope. I had my head shaved pretty damn short for Air Assault School. I do not look good hairless. *sigh*

Here's Mrs Lzen and I riding to visit Mr Plow earlier this month. This is about the most beard I can do in the hot months. Don't judge too harshly, it's windy on that bike at 80mph.

Here's me about 5 years ago. This was my beard at the longest. I miss this but it is just too hard to keep in the warm months.
