Not much flash. It has all been substance. Great show.

The fact that it has 6 more episodes has me pretty damn excited.

This show has been an unexpected slow burn, but it just works. Really liking it to this point.

I got caught up last night. Fantastic job building up the tension and a great payoff at the end.

Finally caught up on this. I’ve stayed out of the thread because I figured clay was dropping spoilers like a mother****er.

I really enjoy it. The acting is really good and nothing the production is doing is taking me out of it.

I didn’t dig the jungle planet backstory a ton but I don’t hate it. I’m all about the on the run business. Because it feels like it has stakes. They’re doing a great job with the tone of the movie.

One thing I heard that hadn’t really thought of before is this is a show made for adults. People are ****ing getting shot in the face, ****ing mowed down, crushed, all of it. And there isn’t a jar jar mother****er to be found. Or even a kid at all in the movie. That’s a bold step.

If anyone listens to The Watch podcast, they interview Gilroy and it’s a pretty solid listen. Apparently he wrote them a letter and said:

This is what you’re planning to do. Here’s why it won’t work.
Here’s what you should not do.
If you’re going to do it it needs to be done this way.

And they went for it. Credit to KK, who has (rightfully) taken a mother****ing mountain of shit from this place, for making a good call.

Fiona Shaw [Maarva] - OMG, . . . that is a thespian

And that 80s vibe on Niamos, expected Cassian Keef to come out wearing a pastel blazer with the sleeves rolled up.

Oh and 'Shoretroopers' -

Man. Andor is THOROUGHLY good. Did not expect Disney to roll out my dream Star Wars series, but 7 episodes in and it's shaping up to be just that.

The Empire at its peak and it’s shadow looming over the day to day lives of everyone in the galaxy, the splintered lines of the rebellion, and seeing a collection of cold blooded murderers in the rebellion take on the empire who is represented by a dude with the demeanor of a middle manager at Best Buy hoping to transfer from Omaha to Austin (Episode 6), and yet, you’re glued to your seat and cheering for the rebels the whole time (potentially at the expense of the middle manager’s family!) I'm just loving every moment of this so far.

By a large margin.

It somewhat pisses me off that they are capable of greatness on this level, yet have given us so much dross.

Yet, I am thankful for this series.

It's the writing, direction, and cinematography we all expected from Kenobi. But Disney in their infinite wisdom opted to put the top brass from Trolls: The Beat Goes On on that writing staff instead.

Wrong. Mandalorian still sits at the top of the TV hill.

Rogue One once it gets to Scarif is the best "Star Wars" ever put on film.
