Buy some frozen ones in steam packages. They're easy and they are far better than canned.

Today is the wife's birthday so I cooked her a ribeye. I kicked that things ass.
It was perfect. I'm pretty sure she had an orgasm. Probably the best one I'll ever give her. |

She grabbed a pic. Snapchat is gay. I had to have her text me a picture of it.
But yeah. We put out diets on hold for a day. I didn't ham up my baked potato like she did. The corn is from the Buehler445 farm. |

Never had them before, they were on sale for 2 bucks so I bought a pack, just reheated until the skin started to bubble. |

Had two incredible dinners and one very good one while here in Vegas:
1. Ate at one of the best and most old school Italian restaurants around, Ferraro's. Just an incredible place, fantastic service and just one hell of a meal. Had the SALSICCIA CALABRESE E RAPINI, Grilled house made spicy sausage, broccoli rabe for an appetizer, the BARBABIETOLE Roasted baby beet, pickled baby fennel, pistachio tuile, yogurt, chamomile dressing for my salad and LOMBATA MILANESE Breaded veal chop, arugula, cherry tomatoes ricotta salata, truffle oil for my meal. Gave it a 9.5 out of ten. Didn't have dessert http://www.ferraroslasvegas.com/ 2. Had one of the best and largest 12 oz Filet Mignons at The Golden Steer, a place that Marilyn Monroe, Joe DiMaggio, the Rat Pack, Wayne Newton, Mario Andretti, along with most stars eat at. Started with Oysters Rockafeller, then the Filet Mignon with grilled Asparagus and sauteed mushrooms in a cream sauce. Also had a bottle of 2012 Trefethon Cabernet Sauvignon that was fantastic. No desserts. Gave it an 8.5 out of 10 http://www.goldensteerlasvegas.com/introduction.html 3. Lastly ate at Il Fornaio in the New York New York casino prior to seeing comedian Ron White at the Mirage. Started with me and my buddy splitting two apps; ANTIPASTO DI PESCE-Seafood platter with seared ahi tuna, spicy grilled calamari, scallop and shrimp as well as ANTIPASTO DELLA CASA-A sampling of authentic Italian antipasti including: Prosciutto di Parma, Italian salame, caprese, bruschetta, grilled artichoke, grilled zucchini and eggplant, roasted bell pepper, Grana Padano, green and black olives then I had CONCHIGLIE AL POLLO Shell pasta, chicken breast, broccoli, sun-dried tomatoes, pecorino cheese, roasted garlic and Trebbiano wine as my entree. They have fantastic bread and I had a Tito's martini to start and a glass of Savignon Blanc with my meal. Gave it a 7.5 out of 10 https://www.newyorknewyork.com/en/re...ants_IlFornaio Overall a great dining experience all around. Last edited by scho63; 04-09-2017 at 09:17 PM.. |
