You do realize that article points out the time Payton sat and watched as he got cucked for the QB he actually wanted, right? Good Lord, you've been especially shit at trolling since coming back.

You know what the REALLY funny part is? We KNEW Payton wanted Mahomes, because Leigh Steinberg told Veach. I wonder why Steinberg was so desperate for us to take Mahomes? He told us exactly who wanted him and everything, a kindness I'm assuming he did not pay to anyone else.

I’m sure Steinberg was more concerned with getting his client picked in the top 10. Back then, top 10 picks got significantly more on their 5th year options than guys who were picked 11th-32nd.

Steinberg probably felt Mahomes had a better shot at beating out Alex Smith than Drew Brees as well.

So Payton allowed the Chiefs to snipe a HOF QB he knew would be Elite? What a shit talent evaluator to allow that to happen. How is it possible to be so bad at your job you sit on your ass waiting because a CB is your plan B?

And to be just as happy they got a CB? Lattimore is nice but we all know how worthless Surtain is as a top 10 pick.
