Mike Moustakas nice memories with the Kansas City Royals but he is not improving with age.
He has a hard time with injuries. He was on IL 6 times in 2022. Would not go down that path again. |

He can retire at 34, still make $18mil this year and another $4mil next year. Dude has no reason to want to play ever again.

Guessing Moose and Hos will catch on somewhere, but right now Salvy is the only starter from the WS championship team who is on a major league team.

Trevor Bauer never committed any crimes, just got extorted by a criminal. It cost him a lot of rep points and accordingly, he probably can't act like the belle of the ball in choosing his next team. I believe the Dodgers still have his rights but they want him gone bad and would probably give him up for anything. The Royals could be a reasonable destination. I say bring him in. Not kidding.
ETA: I bring this up because Bauer's ridiculous suspension got erased and now he's an active player again. Last edited by Vladimir_Kyrilytch; 12-22-2022 at 07:27 PM.. |

When discussing reunion candidates with old players, Hosmer is not at all a fit (despite what facebook fan says all over my feed) Hos has no position with Pratto/Vinnie/Salvy/MJ all floating around the 1B/DH roles. As expected (by everyone not named GMDM or the Padres owner), him relying on natural talent rather than fundamentals has not aged well into his 30's.

Why? He was a Cy Young candidate when he last played. He made the commissioner mad for calling out the ubiquitous use of sticky stuff, and that cost him a lot of time during suspension. But I don't care if the commissioner doesn't like him cause just between us girls, I don't like the commissioner.
Free Bauer. Bring him to the K. |
