Being a college booster is idiotic. Colleges have billions in hedge funds and then want your money and time.

Weren’t they talking about bringing Fangio back too? That’s pretty bad when you have to go crawling back to two HCs that you just fired and ask them if they want the DC job?

I think Payton is a great coach but was never going to be a great fit to "fix" Russell Wilson.

Broncos should have hired Steichen.

If you look at the NFL's worst QB situations... Jets, Titans, Commanders, Cardinals, whomever

Would any of them take Chef Russ and that contract, even if the Donks would simply give him away for nothing?

I'd be fine with Drake, Shedeur, J.J., etc. We don't necessarily need the #1 overall to upgrade QB.

I'm hoping the Payton hire was looking beyond Russ.

My, how your tune has changed since the days of making Mahomes/Wilson comparisons....

Now you're ready to sign the guy who bagged your groceries at Hy-Vee.

At least Fangio is a really good defensive coordinator. Would have been much better than VJ

You're stuck with Russ for a while.

I have no idea what the motivation was but Payton seemed like a name that the $$$$ guys wanted to buy, not really a savvy football move.
