That tough to stop without selling out against the pass…and then Pacheco is fed the ball…
We're tough to stop right now as it is even with boring shitty ol' JJSS.

I prefer to make as many longterm friendly moves during this Mahomes era, and only ever dip into "splash" moves when the hole or the need is especially gaping. That's the strategy Brap Vortch has taken for 5 years and its won us two Super Bowls.

While, it feels like we can’t. I recall old Bert Rollin up in this bitch with like $142 and, a stack of Papa John’s coupons and whipping his magic stick out, and owning the league not too many seasons ago. Mother ****er is a MAGICIAN!! Watch what he does!

New Jones contract? Done
LT and RT locked up? Done
New DL? Done

I think we will erect a Blurt Meach statue….. IN THE MIDDLE OF KANSAS ****ING CITY!!!!!!! THAT WILL MAKE THE STATUE OF UNITY LOOK LIKE A MODEL TRAIN PIECE!!!!!!!!!

Well, I hope anyway! I have faith!!

Matt Lane over at KCSN is an idiot. He wants us to invest on Jawaan Taylor, an average right tackle and pay him 15 million per season. The guy gave up 28 sacks in his fours seasons in the league. But aside from that, if he was someone you would go out of our way to sign, why aren't the Jags doing the same thing?

DHop is just ****ing unnecessary. "It takes risks to win a Super Bowl!" It takes smart risks to win a Super Bowl, and you really don't need that kind of risk when you have Mahomes as your QB.

People need to think differently about how we're going about this. Stop with this, "Oh man, THIS GUY is the final piece that will make us truly unstoppable!" Let other teams with QBs like Tua and Hurts think that way. That's small minded and stupid. We already have the truly unstoppable part, and unless you're getting a guy to replace Kelce as the biggest part of the offense long term (DHop wouldn't be a long term solution) then ****ing stop with the Rams bullshit ideas.

Never pay more to win a Super Bowl ring than you have to.
No, no, no. Don't you UNDERSTAND? The Chiefs cannot win the Super Bowl without a true #1 WR. They HAVE TO GET DHOP. If they don't, then the offense will sputter and we won't score any points.

We HAVE to trade a high pick and bunch of money to get DHOP because he's over 30 and finished the last two seasons on IR! WE HAVE TO OR WE'LL SUCK. Don't you know The Patriots got Moss when he was 30? DON'T YOU KNOW?!

Taylor is an ascending player and he is young. He would shore up the RT position for the foreseeable future and allow BV to work whatever magic he is going to work to solve the LT position long term.

That's too much money to invest on a RT. Creed will need a contract soon.

Tackles are more important than a C though.

Jesus people, this whole we can't pay ______ because player x needs a contract.

You can pay multiple big contracts on the line, its how they are staggered that really matters. The fact that it appears we are not going to pay OBJ creates a pot of OLine money you can play with. It all depends on how Veach attacks the line rebuild.

Yes. Creed is going to get paid. No doubt in my mind. The guy you have to wonder about is Trey Smith, because I don't think you can sign both those guys in the same year, UNLESS, Veach slays the draft once again.

Currently the only guy we really pay anything for is Thuney. He's cemented at his position for 2023, after that you could move on from him if you wanted to give his money to a younger player (ie Smith or whoever your replacement at LT is).

It wouldn't surprise me in the least to see Veach pay for a RT and use the draft to find our LT. If the right side is shored up, then we can scheme to help the rookie which is way better than scheming to help a guy who wants to be paid as one of the top LT's in the game.

I guess my point is this, there are ample resources to spend on the line rebuild. It just might not be used in the conventional way, I mean we had no tackles on Veach spent huge money on a guard. But it worked. There is more than one way to do this.
