Gonna have myself a good laugh if Seattle drafts a QB at #5.
Meanwhile, back in Denver... "We can fix Russ!"

Personally, I was thinking of when Jesus said "if he asks for your shirt, take his coat and give it to your friends."

The best part is going to be if/when they give up less than the Broncos did for Russ.

Let's not kid ourselves. We all know where this is headed. Under the tutelage of Bounty Man, Wilson will kind of resemble a starting NFL QB over the next two years, but the team won't win anything. As soon as Payton and Pay a Ton can cut bait without "crippling the franchise," they'll drop Wilson like a hot potato, passing the blame to Mr Limited. And then they'll install someone who will suck more.

Meanwhile, Denver fans will continue to chant "We're a QB away" while championing a roster with one Pro Bowler.

What is the cap hit if they cut Russ after 2023? i thought it was still prohibitive, like $60M or more?

His dead cap number in 2023 is $107M. Next year $85M. After that it's $49.5M in 2026.

Spotrac has his out year AFTER 2026 because then his dead cap hit is $31M.

They can't cut him anytime soon.

Hmm. Oh, maybe Sean wasn't saying he'd cut him. Maybe sit him? God, what a CF.

A lot of Broncos reporters are hinting at Denver making a run at Kaleb McGary. He was the 4th highest graded tackle in the NFL last year, according to PFF.

They definitely will. The Broncos wouldn't have paid as much for Rodgers as they did for Russ.

Rodgers is turning 40 this year.

We’ll tag and trade you OBJ for 3 1sts, a second, and Surtain. We’ll call it the Pays a Ton plan 2.0!!
