34 year old QB declining athletically vs. 27 year old QB entering into his prime.

Yup, pretty much the same exact thing.

Denver HAS to get rid of this guy, but they really can't.

That's without even going into the situation itself.

The Saints IIRC had their draft picks, and Brees contract obviously wasn't a disaster like Wilson's.

They also didn't have Andy/Mahomes and Herbert in their division.

But other than all of that, basically the same exact situation!

Favre, Elway, Steve Young, Aaron Rodgers, Brady and Peyton Manning all had their best or second best seasons of their career at age 37 or older.

How many of those guys looked as washed as Wilson did before that? We're talking not even a top 20 QB.

Hint: none

The best part is, not even Sean Payton himself believes that shit, hence why he was openly praying for Andy to retire.

Why did you leave off what the Saints did the year after they went 7-9 and 8-8? Is it because they won the Super Bowl?

Okay, we'll try this your way:

Brett Favre
John Elway
Steve Young
Aaron Rodgers
Tom Brady
Peyton Manning
Russell Wilson

Let's see if you can pick out the one that doesn't belong . . . . . . . . .

What’s Sean Payton’s record without Drew Brees as his starting QB?

It was your graphic, not mine.

I guess if you truly believe that Sean Payton is going to turn 38 year old Russ into prime Drew Brees and win the Super Bowl with him in his 4th year there in Denver, then I don't know that we really have much else to discuss.

Good luck with that, BTW.
