He went up against a defense that was the best in the NFL in the last 14 years in terms of not allowing passes greater than 20 yards downfield. When it was truly do or die, he had his longest completed pass in the air the entire season - 57 yards - from basically a standstill with a lineman about to destroy him after retreating 14 yards behind the LOS. Oh, and he also pushed the coaches to run that play. Oh, and it was also the 4th quarter of the Super Bowl.

That alone makes it one of his best games.

Scandrick was hot garbage against the Chargers. Repeatedly beaten throughout the game.

And I thought I read from the 44 yard pass to Tyreek on 3rd and 15 he went 8 or 12 for 112 yards and 2 TDs (with one incompletion being the bomb that ran out the clock).
Go ahead TD drive he was 5-5 for 60 yards.

Yep, he was the MVP. Without him, we don't win.

the Steelers game last year I was like "ok, wow. the kid had a good game" . I still wasn't of the mindset "This is Mahomes". That didn't happen until I think the following week against the Niners. When he threw that rope on the run to Robinson(?) between Sherman and another defender int he endzone....that was the pass I was like "ok.....this isn't a fluke. this guy is the real deal.".

Wife and I just looked at each other after that completion, mouths open.......I chuckled, and got up and went to the fridge for a beer; cracked it, said "that kids the real deal right there" and slammed the beer. lol

Welp, Pat just threw TD #6 on the day. Two for Kelce. One for Reek, Kareem, Robinson and Conley.
