I was coming from a player health and safety perspective but, there is that point as well.

Cynthia Frelund...
My models indicate the Chiefs are on their way to winning their ninth straight AFC West division title. Despite two tough games to start the season (hosting the Ravens and Bengals), the schedule is favorable for the reigning Super Bowl Champs, who are not slated to be underdogs in my models in any of their 17 contests. Next Gen Stats show that Kansas City's passing offense averaged just 6.5 air yards per attempt in 2023, the second-lowest mark in the NFL. The addition of receivers Hollywood Brown (free agency) and Xavier Worthy (Round 1 of the draft) should help change things. The Chiefs also benefit from the fact that their hardest four-game stretch of the season comes late in the slate (Weeks 14-17), which means they have a lot of time to establish their offensive identity before facing the likes of the Chargers, Browns, Texans and Steelers in December. https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-schedul...or-2024-season |

Show me an NFL schedule and I'll show you a bunch of people who are angry about it.
The NFL has to deal with the Chiefs, not the other way around. An early bye or Wednesday Afternoon Football isn't going to break them. |

Was hoping for a Thanksgiving game, but we got Black Friday and Christmas. Plus we get so many games that we will be the only games on -
1 - Thursday night kickoff @ home 3 - SNF on the road 5 - MNF @ home 9 - MNF @ home 13 - Black Friday @ home 14 - SNF @ home 16 - Saturday football @ home 17 - Christmas day football on the road That is a lot of exposure for Chiefs Kingdom and Arrowhead Stadium. |

For someone making the trek from Denver across Kansas for a normal, Sunday afternoon game in decent weather.....I suppose my options are Week 2 vs Cincinnati and Week 10 vs.......ugh, Denver.

Seems like I end up going to see the Donks vs Chiefs a lot and that looks to be the best game for me to go to this year. Right know it's a noon game and that's great. Tampa Bay is a possibility as well but the drive home being later sucks.

Wow. We got awarded 17 regular season games. That's got to be the most in the league.

The recipient of the Chiefs Curse this season are the Buffalo Bills (the loser to KC in the playoff round). Last time that happened one of their players almost died on the field. Hope it isn’t that brutal in 2024 (predict they don’t make the post-season and McDermott gets fired).
