This is definitely true. At least with Jefferson, you are getting a no-doubt stud on a Hall of Fame trajectory. I'd rather pay more for that, than a little less for one of those other guys.

Kelce has been the steal of the twenty teens. One day you will tell your grand kids that you saw Mahomes play with Kelce and Hill on the same team.

What will probably help level the WR market will be if teams start to emphasize TEs more as they can do a lot and currently are far cheaper.

They will find the money, even if it’s at the cost of a lot of good players. They need to keep McCauley “SB window is my whole career” Culkin happy.

*Looks at our tight end room*
Kelce, Irv Smith, Gray and Wylie. Holy Hell we may be a step ahead again. With the WR's to keep pressure off the intermediate. JIMP.

Not to mention him and Jefferson are college teammates, there's no way he'll accept not beating Jefferson's deal, you know how these guys are.

Why?

He is 25. They have a rookie QB on a rookie contract. This is what you are supposed to do. Use that cheap contract to pay elite players.

They just used a top 10 pick on a QB, you are going to then get rid of weapons? Way to make that dude fail immediately.
