Cleveland would be nuts to pass on Garrett for a project QB, wouldn't they? I mean it is Cleveland and all but that seems like a huge mistake.

As much as I've wanted the Chiefs to draft a QB the last few years, I'm in the same boat as you over Foster. He just seems like the kind of player who would put our defense over the top. I never feel like we beat people up. Berry is about the most physical guy on the D. Foster would bring quite an attitude that could be infectious with the others.

I wouldn't be surprised if the only team that selected a QB tonight is Cleveland.
Cleveland takes Tribusky at some point, the rest of the QB fall. Mahomes and Watson top of round 2 Webb and Kizer round 3 Peterman round 4 Kaaya and Dobbs round 5 Chad Kelly round 7 rest undrafted So much QB draft chatter probably means they all fall like a rock. |

Peter King says the Cards want a day 1 defensive starter at 13, which makes sense with Palmer and Fitz returning for one more shot at the SB.
Lance Zierlein has been adamant for the last 24 hours that the Texans will not be going QB in the 1st. He sounds extremely confident about this. One ofnthe QB's will fall to us or at least into the 20's for a possible trade up. |
