2019 Free agency Thread

We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.

If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research.

He's pretty much the roadmap for what you hope the Chiefs are doing with McKenzie - 7th round draft pick as an OG after playing exclusively DT in college. Managed to turn himself into a starter as a rookie in his first season as an OL. Even started in the playoffs for them.

And now he's had 5 straight seasons as a full-time starter and has been a competent player that whole time. I'm sure he's being well compensated in that deal to boot.

Just a cool guy to root for. Obviously we'd have to be elated to see that kind of development from McKenzie.

Mortensen on ESPN sure sounded like a guy who wasn’t expecting Berry to remain in KC.

It's great. All of the uncertainty and confusion surrounding Berry doesn't even die down during the offseason.

You're tearing your own argument apart with ridiculous hyperbole and nitpicking.

All you have to say is you're not comfortable with his injury history and don't think he fits the current scheme. That's it.

He said based on what he’s heard that it is ‘fair to speculate’ as it relates to whether or not he remains on the team.

That's exactly where this started a month ago and I got repeatedly and continuously attacked for it.

I'm going to defend my opinions, especially when I know I'm right.

Personally, I’d be shocked if he’s on the team next year. The cap space we’d get from post June1’ing him is more valuable than he is at this point, IMO.

No you haven't. Just this morning you went on a silly tirade about how no one wants Dee Ford and he's worthless.

Speculating about possibilities but speaking as if they are already actual facts is tunnel vision.

Just this morning, somebody else brought it up. Sorry, but if somebody else brings it up, I'm going to respond.

My initial post was actually about the Packers signing two pass rushers and how the contracts looked terrible in comparison to the talent they got.

The response? "But you don't like Dee Ford?"

If somebody brings it up, you bet your ass I'm going to say something.
