That would be outstanding for a player who we got off the streets and hasn't played in two years and is viewed as option 3 on this team.

If this was part of any plan all along its a terrible plan considering dude simply cannot be counted on to be available.

There is a big difference between taking a flyer at low risk on Gordon hoping it works out and actually making him part of your big plan for the season.

It would probably be easier to list the things he hasn't taken.

Dude has dealt with opioids, alcohol, and some serious mental health issues. If you want specifics I've seen Xanax and Codeine specifically mentioned.

I'd be happy with some clutch plays late in the season and playoffs, even a glimpse of his old self at the right time would be a positive for us.

He has set he sold drugs in college to the tune of making $10,000 a month. Probably would have made more money had he went that route early on.

Like his NFL career it would likely have had some bumps in the road.

Dude has an anxiety problem.

You don't know anybody like that?

I'm not saying this is going to work out for sure, but nobody that's ever dealt with him says he's a bad person. He's got serious mental health issues.

This is a good environment for him to try to get right. It's totally worth the risk.
