$12m? Texans wouldn't have traded him to the Chiefs though...Seattle killed it. The Patriot coaching tree continues to produce rotten fruit.... |

Wow.
I like Clark, but I would have preferred to send a second for Clowney (if possible) and keep our first and use it on a corner. That's a great deal for Seattle. |

Or trade a 3rd, Ragland and Attouchu for Clowney right now and then get a 3rd rd comp after this season

You're speaking in hindsight. At the time we done the Clark deal there was no way the Texans were accepting that deal, none at all. The latter it dragged out the more their hand was forced and Seattle have benefited. Difference is though we've locked down Clark for years, Seattle haven't and could well lose him when it's all said and down.

Perhaps it would have taken a little more. Either way, I wonder if we could have gotten something done where we saved our first. Last edited by New World Order; 08-31-2019 at 12:31 PM.. |

That'd be neat and all, but that's 16 million of cap space we could've rolled over and used to sign our players gone for a rental.

Houston wasn't trading Clowney to the team directly blocking their path to the Super Bowl
