This play isn't as bad as it was at first glance. Ball is a couple inches higher it might be caught.

Actually that's a very interesting question. If he sets his feet does he have the opportunity to throw that ball without a DB being in better position?

How many opportunities for completions are going to present themselves to this guy because he can throw it with zip and accuracy WITHOUT his feet being set?

It’s amazing when you give your WRs an opportunity to make a play. We haven’t see this is decades. Unbelievable

Oh maybe I'm still high on homer ether, but its possible that setting his feet results in a more accurate, slightly higher throw that only Harris has a shot at

That throw to Harris was the only play that I really didn't like at all. Given the circumstances (1st and 10, approaching FG range), that throw was not necessary at all.

I suspect he will learn from it.

Speculation?... It's called years of observation. When Smitty is traded go him on a different forum.

Not talking about the number of targets he received. I was simply looking at the specific throws and how they were made. At least three of them were plays Smith cannot/will not make.

Yup.

He also needs to practice setting his feet more often. Comes with experience.
