We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.

I wouldn't bet on Greedy being Peterson, and I sure as shit wouldn't trade up for anyone. There will be excellent players available at the end of the second. There is a very real chance you end up with three first round talents before the third round.

We need to cast a wide net this draft. There are multiple holes and one elite player is not as valuable as three very good ones.

Yeah, I mean, I would rather have Ramsey but I doubt that's an option.

He did for a half against the Chargers, but he looked a day late and a dollar short pretty much every snap of the Seahawks and Patriots games.

I didn't see an asset at 1/2 his pricetag out there last year. Unless you think rest will make him much better (than the version of him that rested all season), you have to move on from him. The guy we got last year was not someone we really need to have, IMO.
No i don't think he's worth $13M right now.

I don't think "Honey Badger" is worth $14M

I don't think Sammy Watkins is worth $16M

But yeah, i think he's still a good player and likely better than anything we'd get to replace him this season. He's still smart, instinctive, a sound tackler and aggressive. Maybe he doesn't have the speed he once had, so don't put him in a position where has to cover the entire field as a single high FS.

I'd rather take the 1-year flyer on him than not.

He's gone no matter what after this season anyway.
