2019 Free agency Thread
We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.
If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research. https://overthecap.com/ |

Berry couldn't cover Gronkowski who was running like he was stuck in the mud...

I feel like we should really wait until we get some evidence of guys playing under Spags before we write anybody off.
Every free agent on the defense was better before they came here and I think Sutton may be to blame. |

He did for a half against the Chargers, but he looked a day late and a dollar short pretty much every snap of the Seahawks and Patriots games. I didn't see an asset at 1/2 his pricetag out there last year. Unless you think rest will make him much better (than the version of him that rested all season), you have to move on from him. The guy we got last year was not someone we really need to have, IMO. |

this place is funny - we all fight until we sign someone new - then everyone is kind to one anther for a few hrs - then back to the normal debates.

Middlekauf made mention of the Chiefs sending their first to Arizona for PP. Said he hadn't really heard anything but it wouldn't surprise him.

Berry couldn't cover Gronk when they both were playing at the top of their game. Few people ever were effective against Gronk, even Old Gronk. Berry sat around all season and when he finally played he was basically in preseason week 2 game shape. Jury is still out until the 16th. |
