There's no cap on paying coaches. Who cares how much they pay?

That would be Gruden II, Electric Boogaloo. If you need to pay even CLOSE to 25 million AAV for Payton , that means he's only choosing you for the $$$.

Watching Donk fans get all excited about Payton only to have their little hearts crushed again is just too perfect.

If he's going to ANY team in the AFCW it'd be the Chargers where they have a real QB and not tied to some overpaid POS QB with no talent on the team and no draft capitol.

Donks will be one of the least attractive jobs in the NFL amongst any HC who can actually choose their own path.

You'll settle for Joe Brady and you'll like it.

**** that, I hope they do land Payton. After the 2009 Super Bowl he won in large part due to his DC paying defensive players to deliberately injure QBs, he's went 5-7 in the playoffs. With that loaded roster and with a franchise QB, he won 5 games. Holy ****amoli that's terrible.

Payton with the Chargers could be scary.

At this point they’d probably settle for Greg Brady

And let's not forget the "elephant in the room" which is a broken EmbaRuss for the next 4 years eating up significant cap room, even if they manage to recoup some of those picks by trading away all of their talent.....

Why would Peyton want to "Ride" with EmbaRuss, even if the Donkos recoup some of the picks and can draft some young talent?***

***rhetorical question....

Sean Payton is almost Mike McCarthy level bad. He went 5-7 in the playoffs 11 years after their SB win.

And that guy had prime Drew Brees for most of those years.
