For the first time in my 55 years of loyal Broncos fandom I actually feel embarrassed and dread having to face the guys at work tomorrow. The performance of this team,....this new mega million dollar QB and this new head coach is absolutely deplorable. I wish I could crawl under a rock until this season is over. I am absolutely heart broken over how far the Broncos have sunk from the once proud and feared team I remember them being. I know this post will rub some people wrong but I am just so depressed and saddened by what I just witnessed that I had to get this off my chest.

YES!

Hate to say it but we would have been a better team with Drew Lock starting and Brian Callahan as the coach. Plus, we would have a slew of draft picks and money next year.

Even better DrunkBass, I hope Seattle finds a good, franchise QB with one of Denver's picks.

Oh my goodness that would be glorious!

Hard to imagine Sean Payton would seriously consider leaving his cushy, high-paying TV gig to go dig them out from under this.

No 1st or 2nd this year, none next year. Huge QB contract they can’t get out of until 2025, not an overly talented roster, and cap issues once Wilson’s contract accelerates (right around the time those traded picks really start hurting you).

Payton isn’t going to walk into that much uncertainty. No established coach is going to.

The Broncos are ****ed.

Considering how badly Sean Payton wanted to draft Mahomes with the Saints, it seems unlikely he would go to a team that has to play him twice a season… especially without the benefit of a top caliber QB (i.e. not Fat Russell).

Broncos fans should relax. We're just getting into the 3rd preseason so there is plenty of time to turn things around.

They can have Eric Bieniemy and further widen the draft pick gap between us.
