Any consensus on the value of the vaccine for people who have already had covid and recovered? Definitely still get vaccinated? No real benefit? Still up for debate?

(apologies if this has already been covered.... it's a very long thread at this point)

There are still some unknowns about it, but you should still get it eventually, and if you have any conditions that would make you vulnerable, I'd do it as soon as you can regardless.

But generally, the data we have suggests that natural immunity will last quite a while (at least 8 months), so probably no reason to rush out if you are otherwise healthy.

I been working from home since March of 2020, and rarely ever go to the crowded areas and all that stuff.

I'm not in a too hurry to get mine at this point since I'm working from home and been staying home, and socially distancing seeing my family when I can. So no point for me to rush out to get it right now.

There are far more people who needs it more than I do at this point. I'll go whenever my doctor tells me that he has them and that will take care of that.

Looks like we'll start getting the vaccine mid-late Feb.

I read that there will be two more vaccines applying for use soon, Astra Zeneca and Johnson and Johnson which are both single dose.

Well, 5 days past first Moderna injection. No side effects other than a sore arm. Maybe felt a little lethargic that first day, but with 3 kids and two businesses thats not abnormal.

No excess penis growth side effect. Sadly.

that was exactly my experience. Got mine on the day after Christmas, so wasn't sure if I was more tired from the vaccine, or if it was the holidays.

Of all the states so far, West Virginia has apparently had the most vaccination success by far.

What are they doing that everybody else isn’t?

Size maybe? I dunno.

It's starting to ramp up. Just get shots in arms of those who want it.

Most of the states in dark green on Bloombergs tracker are spread out rural states. Montana, both Dakotas, WV, Alaska

I don't have any theory why. I would've thought Itd be harder for those states
