Colin Cowherd's brilliance on display:

The Chiefs, Bills and 49ers are all flawed contenders according to Cowherd, as they don’t meet the criteria for all five categories like the Buccaneers, Rams and Broncos. He also says the AFC West is good, but Denver will be even better prepared for a deep playoff run

Sure they will. I have no doubt he's right.

They'll be better prepared to watch the games from their couch. I bet they'll have the best finger foods, layered dips and soft drinks. Super prepared.

In Cowherd's defense, he did walk that back last night. He said if he had to do it over, he'd put DEN 4th in the division. Bottom line, he thought Hackett would be a good HC, which obviously hasn't transpired.

He probably also thought Russ was a potential MVP candidate and that hasn't transpired, either.

He probably still believes that about Russ. He's got a really stupid mancrush on that guy.

If hs can change his prediction, then it's not a prediction.

Cowherd then dove into why Hackett is a big upgrade over Vic Fangio, before reaching his conclusion. And that conclusion should make Broncos fans smile.
Quote:
“Denver should be a Super Bowl favorite, or a near-favorite, for the next several years. That is how you build a franchise in one year. That’s why the NFL is so popular, you can literally rebuild your franchise in a year. So good for them,” Cowherd said.

I used to listen to that turd. He always said his opinion is backed up by data. Well, he started being wrong about everything, and he was just spewing bullshit to get ratings. That's when I checked out.

His Sam Darnold takes are something epic. Said the Jets should prepare for several Superbowls the next 10 years after they drafted him. I mean, how dumb can a guy be?

Possibly. I didn't actually see the original taping, just saw his retraction last night. Though even I thought Russ would be better than he has been so far. But how much of that is game planning vs. execution I have no idea. Haven't actually watched DEN this season, just a couple highlight reels.

Denver is going to get better, but my god the hype was completely delusional from their fans and the media.

Seriously. Until last week I've been putting in 60+ hour weeks at work, and taking care of my mother since she twisted her ankle a month ago. Still have only seen one complete Chiefs game this season, and it was the first one vs. the Cards, right before my 84-year old mom decided to try climbing up on a ladder.
