I only saw Mills play one game last year...maybe against the Chargers but he looked decent. The best of all the rookies QBs...in my small sample size.
i thought the Texans might be a bit of a sleeper team this year...not great put not a push over. |

Mainly because he drafted Patrick Surtain, a very safe prospect, in the top 10? He hired Hackett to attract Rodgers, then out of pure desperation, he traded for Russ who's clearly on the downside of his career. Just a complete disaster from a guy that has been overhyped from day 1. At least Pioli came from the ****ing Patriots. I really want to know what this butt****ing moron did in Minnesota to deserve the reputation/hype. It's completely manufactured. |

And they wasted 30 seconds of clock before calling the TO for the FG attempt. They had plenty of time and TO's so the entire field was available. Not like they would have had to get the yards and stop the clock with only 13 seconds on the clock.

My main take-away from the game was "Can't" Hackett is an absolutely horrible head coach. As a non Bronco fan I quietly thanked him every time he replaced Williams with Gordon last night. Williams was tearing the Seahawks' defense apart last night when they gave him the ball.

12 penalties....sloppy undisciplined team. Turnovers. In the red zone no less. And then of course the infamous 4th qtr gaff. They have all the hallmarks of a poorly coached team. |

The refs killed a Seattle drive with a phantom holding call...they were inside the 30 too. They completely ignored Mongo on one of the most obvious holding calls I've ever seen...and the Donks converted a long 3rd down in Seattle territory because of it. Those were two crucial calls, at critical junctures, that changed the game...which are important in a 3 point contest. Most people wont catch those calls/no-calls...they are mixed in with legitimate penalties. False starts, delay of game, offsides...they have to call them. Holding..no so much. |

Signed a middling, game-manager QB to the worst contract in NFL history at the time? Does that count?
