Is Dozier gonna not **** around this year, and not be a scrub ? Also is Greinke gonna be a starter or more of a middle reliever ? I've been out of the loop with him.

28 year old, Ryan O'Hearn is certainly the target for a lot of Royals fan loathing. I am guilty of it.
You can't blame him for playing a game that he loves. He is getting paid, but certainly not huge sums of money for a professional athlete. In 2019 he got paid $557,650. For this year he will get $1,300,000. It seems like he has been around forever, but he first arrived in July 31, 2018 and only has 275 major league games played. Not even two full seasons of games under his belt. His career .215 BA and .294 OBP has certainly been a good deal of the frustration. We all hoped that his HRs would help the team and add some value. I don't mind the Royals giving him a chance, but don't want him blocking MJ Melendez or Nick Pratto. I apologize for my earlier two bags of balls comment. I hope that Ryan O'Hearn contributes to the Royals with his hitting or being part of a trade that brings value to the Kansas City Royals. |

Royalsreview.com predicts the opening day lineup -
RF Whit Merrifield 2B Nicky Lopez C Salvador Perez LF Andrew Benintendi 1B Carlos Santana DH Hunter Dozier 3B Bobby Witt Jr. SS Adalberto Mondesi CF Michael Taylor Jr Who do you think for the bench? Cam Gallagher Sebastian Rivero Ryan O'Hearn Emmanuel Rivera Kyle Isbel JaCoby Jones Edward Oliveras I am thinking - Cam Gallagher, Edward Oliveras, Kyle Isbel, and Ryan O'Hearn unless the Royals can make a trade. With a 26-man roster, maybe infielder like Rivera is also there. When Mondesi gets injured, Witt Jr moves to SS and Emmanuel Rivera or Hunter Dozier moves to 3B. |

Random thought: Unless Oliveras grows into a better defender in the outfield, he sure is beginning to look like an ideal DH. |
